No single food can do it all, but it goes without saying some foods are healthier than others.

According to the Cleveland clinic super foods are not a nutritionally recognized category of foods so there is no specific criteria a food must meet to be considered one. But the title is typically reserved for natural foods that are especially nutrient-dense while generally being low on calories.

Super foods help promote health by increasing your immune function and decreasing your chance of disease prevention or progression.
